National Indigenous Peoples Day - June 21, 2026

On June 21, Sea to Sky School District recognizes National Indigenous Peoples Day. This day is an opportunity to honour and celebrate the cultures, languages, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. As a district, we are grateful to live, learn, and work on the unceded and ancestral territories of the Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh Úxwumixw and St’át’imc Nations. Principal's Message

Welcome to Valleycliffe Elementary School!
 
We are honoured to be learning on the unceded traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation. We have a beautiful little school in the Valleycliffe community of Squamish, BC.
 
Together our staff, students and families work together to create a safe, kind, and caring school culture. Our focus is on creating a sense of belonging while building, maintaining, and strengthening connections each day. We create authentic tasks that help our students learn competency-based skills that help them grow as a learner.   
 
 We hope you enjoy our school and community!
